Boise man cited for poaching a sturgeon after sportsman reported it

A Boise man was recently cited for catching and keeping a two-foot white sturgeon caught below Swan Falls Dam on the Snake River. A Citizens Against Poaching (CAP) call triggered the investigation.

Cat recovering from plague in Elmore County

A cat in Elmore county is recovering from plague. It had come into contact with flea-infested ground squirrels before becoming ill. This is the second plague finding in Idaho in 2018 after a child was found to be infected earlier in June.
