2025-2026 Migratory Game Bird Season

Idaho Fish and Game is seeking comments on its 2025-2026 Migratory Game Bird Season proposals.

Review the draft proposal below and submit comments by March 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. MDT.

After reviewing feedback and considering agency goals, season recommendations will be presented to the Commission for their consideration via conference call on April 15.

Idaho Fish and Game Strategic Plan Update

Idaho’s fish and wildlife belong to Idahoans. This is your opportunity to shape how Idaho Fish and Game manages wildlife in the years ahead.

The Idaho Fish and Game Strategic Plan, known as The Compass, was last updated in 2015. The plan serves as the roadmap to chart the strategies and objectives the Department uses to achieve the IDFG mission, enacted in 1938 by the Idaho Legislature.
