Mail your application and payment to:
Idaho Department of Fish and Game
Attn: Hound Hunter Permit Application
P.O. Box 25
Boise, ID 83707
Applications must be received at the Idaho Fish and Game Headquarters office no later than December 2, 2019. Applications received after December 2, 2019, or lacking the appropriate fees will be declared void and will not be included in the drawing.
Hound hunters may apply with a partner; only one application per person or group will be accepted.
A second choice is optional. Single or group applications that are unsuccessful for their first permit choice will be entered into a second choice drawing automatically, provided the second choice permit applied for has not been filled.
If you draw a permit, you will receive it in the mail. If you are unsuccessful, your fees will be returned unless you indicate on your application that you would like a hunting or combination license. The license will be mailed to you, and you will receive a refund for your hound hunter permit fee.
