Spring controlled turkey hunt application period runs Feb. 1 through March 1

Mule deer surveys begin over Tex Creek in Eastern Idaho

Mountain lion dispatched in Ketchum after killing dog in subdivision

Idaho Fish and Game officials on Saturday, Jan. 26 dispatched a mountain lion that was spotted in a Ketchum subdivision after killing a dog. The six to seven-year-old, non-lactating female  cat was tracked to a nearby area and dispatched for public safety.

Hunting dogs died from suspected poisoning near Joseph Plains in Clearwater Region

On Jan 19, a houndsman near the Crow’s Foot area, past Boles, lost two of his dogs to suspected poisoning. The dogs were let out near the cattle guard at the Crow’s Foot and began sniffing around.
