A wolf trapper education course will be offered in Salmon on Saturday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Idaho Fish and Game office located at 99 Highway 93 North. Students will learn about wolf management, wolf trapping regulations and ethics, wolf habits and behavior, avoiding non-target captures, proper techniques, pelt care, and reporting requirements. Anyone intending to trap wolves in Idaho must attend a wolf trapper education course prior to purchasing wolf trapping tags.
