Upland game birds are sensitive to environmental factors — like temperature and precipitation — and can substantially vary in number from year to year. Because of drought conditions, birds will likely concentrate around water sources, particularly early in the season.
Hunters and recreationists will now have access into Kelsaw Canyon in game management unit 57 this falls thanks to a partnership between Arimo Corporation, the U.S. Forest Service, and Idaho Department of Fish and Game.
