Results of the second controlled hunt drawing for elk, deer, pronghorn, and black bear have been posted through Fish and Game’s licensing system. Log in to your account at GoOutdoorsIdaho.com to check to see if you drew a controlled hunt tag.
The application period for Idaho’s second big game controlled hunt drawing runs Aug. 5-15. Tags available in the second drawing include those for deer, elk, pronghorn, and black bear that were not applied for in the first drawing and those that were not claimed by the Aug. 1 deadline.
The application period for fall 2026 deer, elk, pronghorn, swan, fall black bear, and fall turkey controlled hunts begins May 1 and runs through June 5. Hunters can also apply for the first Super Hunt drawing through May 31.
