IF you held a valid 2017 annual license, then you are locked in. Simply purchase your 2018 license.
IF you did NOT hold a valid 2017 license, then you can purchase any 3-year license and pay 2017 prices for 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Q: How does Price Lock save me 20 percent in 2018?

A: As of January 1, 2018, the cost of resident licenses, tags, and permits went up 20 percent, except for those who participated in Price Lock. If you had a 2017 annual license, you are part of Price Lock, and you will continue to pay 2017 prices for all licenses, tags, and permits in 2018. Plus, as long as you buy an annual license each year, you can continue to pay 2017 prices for at least five years. This is the Price Lock promise.

Q: What happens if I didn’t buy a 2017 annual license?

A: If you missed buying a 2017 annual license, don't worry. You can still participate in Price Lock by purchasing any 3-year resident license while the program is active and receive all the benefits of Price Lock.

Q: Will the cost of licenses, tags or permits go up on items I did not purchase in 2017?

A: No. If you bought a 2017 annual license, this allows you to buy any and all other licenses, tags, and permits in 2018 at 2017 prices. Plus, if you continue to buy an annual license every year, 2017 prices apply to every year the Price Lock is active.
