Two ponds at Ted Trueblood WHA will be dry this waterfowl season for habitat improvement work

With habitat improvements planned for this winter at the Ted Trueblood Wildlife Habitat Area near Grandview, two of the WHA’s three ponds will be dry for the 2021-22 waterfowl seasons.

Salmon Region irrigators asked to contact Fish and Game before turning water off

Information sought on mule deer left to waste near Old Leesburg Road west of Salmon

On the morning of Friday, October 8, an adult mule deer doe was shot and left to waste near the Old Leesburg Road, west of Salmon. The shooter intentionally covered the deer with brush and was likely on an ATV.

Hunters: If your tag isn't properly notched, it's invalid

Reminder for hunters, after you harvest your animal, you must validate your tag by completely removing the correct day and month – just like in the picture – and attaching it to the largest portion of the carcass.
