The Henry's creek fire (formerly known as Blackhawk estate) has some local closures, including Tex Creek WMA while fire personnel are on the scene.

As of this update, it's up to 25,000+ acres at 15% contained.

Repairs Force Tripod Reservoir Drawdown

Horsethief Reservoir limited to day-use only starting Monday, Aug. 22

Idaho Fish and Game officials are closing Horsethief Reservoir to overnight camping on Aug. 22 unless a replacement host can be found. The current host unexpectedly resigned, and under agreements with adjacent land owners, the department will only allow camping when a qualified host is present.
