Overview Summary and Rationale
Hunt Area 27L: Increase tags from 1 to 2 and modify hunt area 27L (CH# 5025) to all of Unit 27 and remove Unit 20A from hunt. Following current management plan direction and using recent survey data this population can support additional harvest (IDFG Bighorn Sheep Management Plan 2022-2027).

Hunt Area Descriptions

Hunt Area 27L — That portion of Unit 20A within the Middle Fork of the Salmon River drainage, and that portion of Unit 27 on the west side of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River downstream from but excluding the Pistol Creek drainage and the east side of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River downstream from but excluding the Camas Creek drainage. All of Unit 27.
