Year-round, Statewide Mountain Lion Season (no change to hound hunting season dates)

• Provide additional incidental mountain lion harvest opportunity and establish statewide consistency in opportunity.
• Increase mountain lion harvest to help reduce predation on deer and elk, reduce human conflicts, and reduce livestock depredations.

Updated 2/19/2025: Added information to specify that using dogs to hunt mountain lions would be prohibited during the newly proposed take season dates.
