Controlled Hunt Area 39-1: Hunt No 1067, any weapon, either sex hunt, Oct 10 – Oct 31, reduce to 1,500 tags (-500)

Reduce to 1,500 tags (-500) and shift targeted antlerless harvest to an X-tag in Unit 39 only and decrease buck harvest risk. Improve herd health in Unit 39 (portion of the Smoky-Boise Data Analysis Unit (DAU)). Will help manage the population to maximize hunting opportunity, reproductive performance and overall herd health commensurate with habitat capabilities.
