Diamond Creek Zone: Add B Tag hunting opportunity with a quota of 300 tags
Elk in the Diamond Creek zone are currently within management objectives (2023 aerial survey). Regional goals are to maintain good elk hunting opportunities while addressing conflicts. The region is proposing a new B-tag option in the southernmost portion of the zone to target specific elk that largely exist on and impact private lands. In contrast, the region is proposing to reduce antlerless harvest in unit 76 where targeted efforts have been successful in moving antlerless elk abundance back within management objectives.
