Youth Shotgun Shooting Skills Clinic Planned

idfg-mdemick
The Jerome Gun Club is concerned about the lack of young people involved in the shooting sports so they're doing something about it. The club is sponsoring a shotgun shooting skills clinic for young people, 10 to 17 years of age, on Saturday, April 26, at the Jerome Gun Club beginning at 9 a.m. Shotgun shells, clay-targets and a lunch will be provided. Shotguns will be provided for youth who don't have their own. Each participant will receive instruction on shooting skills and range safety. All youth participants must be Hunter Education graduates. To register, parents are asked to call Kurt Jerke at 208-404-1995 or Brian Sabala at 208-404-9435. Individuals with disabilities may request meeting accommodations by contacting the Idaho Department of Fish and Game office in Jerome at 208-324-4359 or through the Idaho Relay Service at 1-800-377-2529 (TDD).
