Spring Fishing Events Slated

With warmer weather, thoughts turn to spring fishing. And two Treasure Valley groups have planned April fishing events for anglers of all ages to kick off the spring fishing season. The Eagle Kiwanis Club will host its fifth annual Kids' Fishing Day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 19 at Merrill Pond in Eagle, with fishing equipment and bait provided by Idaho Fish and Game. The Boise Capital Lions Club will sponsor their second annual Fishing Derby from 8 a.m. to noon on April 26 at Boise's Parkcenter Pond. This event is for anglers of all ages.
