idfg-nnokkentved
Plan to attend a Sportsman's Breakfast Meeting September 1 at the Ponderosa Restaurant in Orofino. Wolves, Dworshak Nutrient Enhancement and Deyo Reservoir will highlight the meeting. Hosted by Idaho Fish and Game, the breakfast meeting will run from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the restaurant at 220 Michigan Ave. "We want to kick off the hunting season with this informative meeting, and we hope folks bring their questions and comments," says Clearwater Regional Supervisor Dave Cadwallader. Fish and Game staff will provide presentations on Idaho's wolf status, Dworshak Nutrient Enhancement Project, progress of Deyo Reservoir, and Clearwater Hatchery Operations. Reports will also be given on upcoming hunting season, unethical hunter behaviors occurring in the Orofino area, volunteer opportunities and other related activities. The meeting is open to anyone interested in wildlife and is designed to stimulate informal discussion about local wildlife issues. Coffee will be provided.
