Southeast Region Sets Big Game Scoring Day

Big Game Scoring Day has been scheduled for Thursday, February 26, at the Fish and Game's southeast regional office located in Pocatello. Measuring for Boone & Crockett, Pope& Young, and Longhunter's Society will be conducted for entry into the big game record books. Interested individuals must bring their antlers, horns or skulls to Fish and Game's Pocatello office on Wednesday, February 25, by 5 p.m., for them to be scored on February 26. The office is at 1345 Barton Road. Items brought in for measuring must be free of flesh and must have been air-dried for 60 days. Please note that air-drying is not the same as freezer storage. Information required at the time of drop off includes:
  • Hunter name
  • Date of harvest
  • Location of harvest, including big game unit, county and state
  • Owner name, address, and telephone number
  • Guide's name and address, if applicable
