Some F&G Fire Restrictions Lifted after Recent Rain

Recent rains have moistened habitat such that the general fire restrictions previously placed on Idaho Fish and Game lands and access sites have been lifted, except in areas where specific restrictions still remain. "Even though fires are again being allowed on most Department lands, users are encouraged to keep fires small and under constant observation," Regional Habitat Manager Terry Thomas said. "Having a shovel and bucket of water on hand would be a good idea." Fire conditions in some areas remain of concern, so it is important that users heed and posted restrictions.
