Pheasants Forever Sponsors Fundraiser for Idaho Wildlife Summit

Would you like a chance to win your choice of several wonderful rifles or shotguns for hunting this season? Perhaps you would like a great pair of binoculars or a backpack perfect for a fall excursion in the woods. Maybe you would like a chance to win a year-long family pass to the Pocatello Zoo, complete with a behind-the-scenes tour of the new grizzly exhibit. For a chance to win any of these and other great prizes perfect for the wildlife enthusiast, all you need to do is enter a special raffle sponsored by Pheasants Forever's Southeast Idaho Chapter. Tickets are for sale for $5 each or five for $20 at various vendors in the Pocatello area, including the Idaho Fish and Game office, Cal Ranch, and both locations of Ace Hardware/Snake River Outdoor Sports. Various other vendors throughout southeast Idaho will also be helping to sell raffle tickets for this important fundraiser to benefit the Idaho Wildlife Summit. The Idaho Wildlife Summit will be hosted by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game the weekend of August 24. Though the main event is in Boise, a satellite event will be at the Red Lion Hotel in Pocatello, starting Friday evening, August 24, and ending at noon Sunday, August 26. Anyone who loves wildlife and the great outdoors is invited to participate in the Idaho Wildlife Summit, even if only for the Saturday portion of the event. A free lunch is provided to registered participants.
