After a little more than a year of construction, the new Idaho Department of Fish and Game southwest region office opened to the public on June 10.
The new office is located at 15950 N. Gate Boulevard, near the corner of North Idaho Center Boulevard and Franklin Road, directly east of the College of Western Idaho Micron Center.
Even with the address change, the office phone number will remain the same – 208-465-8465.
The new office is conveniently located near the Interstate 84 Garrity exit, and designed to meet current and future public demands in a rapidly growing part of the state. The new office includes a wet lab for biological sample collection and two Hunter Education classrooms. “We are very excited for the move, and the ability of our new facility to better serve Idaho’s southwest region,” Fish and Game regional supervisor Brad Compton noted.
No public services are available at the former regional office at 3101 S. Powerline Road.
