Last Shot at Hunter or Bow Hunter Education Before Turkey Season

With Idaho's spring turkey hunting season just a few months away, now is the time for future hunters to complete a hunter education course. Seats are available at a number of hunter and bowhunter education courses scheduled March through early April in several Lewiston area communities. Students can view a list courses being offered and register online by visiting Idaho Department of Fish and Game's website at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov. Students can also register at the Clearwater Region Office at 3316 16th St., Lewiston. The courses listed will be the only courses offered before the turkey season begins April 15. Both hunter and bow hunter education courses are also available online through Fish and Game's website. Students who choose this option must also register for and participate in an Internet Course Field Day to complete the course. Anyone born after January 1, 1975, must complete a hunter education course to buy an Idaho hunting license or show proof that they previously held a valid hunting license in Idaho or another state.
