idfg-nnokkentved
Idaho Fish and Game is seelomg information about the poaching of three elk cows in game management unit 27, five miles below Dagger Falls. Conservation Officer Ben Cadwallader responded to a report of five poached elk cows, with several left to waste. Cadwallader found three dead elk in the reported location and evidence that others had been shot, field dressed and removed from the area. Evidence was collected at the scene, but Cadwallader hopes to learn more about the case from an eyewitness. "It appears that the suspects had horses and entered the area from Dagger Falls and Boundary Creek," Cadwallader said. "I would very much like to visit with anyone who may have been in that portion of unit 27 during the last week of October." Citizens against Poaching is offering a reward for information in the case and callers may remain anonymous; call the hotline at 1-800-632-5999, 24 hours a day.
