Sustained flood waters along the Boise and Snake Rivers continue to limit public access to Fish and Game’s Fort Boise Wildlife Management Area (WMA).
Wildlife biologist and WMA manager Tyler Archibald noted that the road to the Snake River boat ramp is closed due to flooding and that many of the WMA’s upland areas are underwater, limiting walk-in access.
“Folks planning to hunt the WMA during the early youth wild turkey season may want to make alternate plans,” Archibald noted. “The good news is, the wildlife viewing platform remains open.”
