Fish and Game Commission to meet next week in Lewiston

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will meet November 16 and 17 in Lewiston.

Presentations on effective trapping techniques and Clearwater region anadromous fisheries management will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 16 at the Jack O’Connor Center, 5600 Hells Gate Road. 

The public hearing will be held at Fish and Game’s Clearwater regional office, 3316 16th Street beginning at 7 p.m. Persons wanting to address the commission on any topic having to do with Fish and Game business may do so at the public hearing.  All testimony will be taken into consideration when the commission makes decisions on agenda items at the meeting.

The commission meeting will continue at 8 a.m. Thursday, November 17 at the Clearwater regional office.  Agenda items include Commission officer election, land acquisitions/exchanges, and appoint a commission representative to Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. Commissioners also will hear updates about the Fiscal Year 2018 budget, upcoming legislative process, the August license breach, and Yellowstone Ecosystem Grizzly Bear delisting.
