F&G Commission to Set Big Game, Salmon Seasons

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will meet March 28 and 29 at the Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtowner, 1800 Fairview Ave., Boise. An open public hearing will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 28. In the morning Tuesday, March 29, commissioners will consider seasons for deer, elk, pronghorn, black bear and mountain lion. During the day they also will hear updates, including status of legislation, license restructuring and wolves. In the afternoon, commissioners will consider spring seasons for Chinook salmon fishing. Wednesday and Thursday, March 30 and 31, as needed: the commission will conduct an executive session to consider hiring a new director.
