Face-to-Fish Day at the MK Nature Center

What is your favorite face-to-fish encounter? Come to the MK Nature Center and try Gyotaku fish painting, get in the Boise River, put your nose on the glass, play a casting game, or tie your very own fly to take home. Learn about fish and have some fun at this family education day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9. Activities and face-to-fish time are for everyone. Fishing and loaner rods will be available across the Boise River at Park Center Pond for Free Fishing Day. Sorry, but the Nature Center fish are only for education, not for fishing. Concessions by Gridiron Food Truck and picnicking will be available. A $3 donation per person ages 3 and over is suggested.
