Ducks Wasted in Buhl

idfg-sliebenthal
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is looking for information on twelve ducks that were wasted in Buhl. On Nov. 26, Senior Conservation Officer Meghan Roos responded to a call where she found the ducks in a ditch behind Kacy Meadows in Buhl. She recovered eleven drakes and one hen mallard that had been tossed into the ditch to waste. "The ducks were likely killed a few days to a week before being dumped there," said Roos. People with information leading to a citation on this or other crimes are eligible for a reward through Citizens Against Poaching, and callers may remain anonymous. Call CAP at 1-800-632-5999 24/7, call Fish and Game's regional office at 208-324-4359 or contact Officer Roos directly at 208-539-4428.
