idfg-nnokkentved
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking public comments on proposals for 2012-13 and 2013-14 upland game and furbearer seasons. Proposals include 1) increasing the possession limit for upland birds from two times the daily bag limit to three times the daily bag limit; 2) reverting to a daily bag of eight birds for chukar and gray partridge; 3) opening all upland bird seasons on the third Saturday in September; and 4) opening additional drainages in Camas and Gooding counties to beaver trapping. Anyone interested in providing input on these seasons is invited to attend an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, January 6, at the Fish and Game office at 324 S. 417 E., Jerome, on Hwy. 93 about one mile north of Interstate 84. The public may also review the proposals and provide comments any time on the Fish and Game website http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/ or at the Fish and Game office in Jerome. The Fish and Game Commission will take action on final season proposals at their meeting in Boise on January 25-27.
