Comment on the Westslope Cutthroat Trout Plan

Idaho Fish and Game is seeking public comments on a draft Management Plan for the Conservation of Westslope Cutthroat Trout in Idaho. The plan is available on the Fish and Game website at: http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/, click on the "Comment Opportunity" link. A 60-day public comment period ends July 26. Westslope cutthroat trout are a native species and an important game fish. It occupies about 80 percent of its historical range in Idaho. The plan discusses the population status in major watershed groupings and the conservation actions Fish and Game intends to pursue to protect and enhance populations and habitat across the species range in Idaho. Fish and Game urges anyone interested to read the draft and provide their comments no later than July 26. Comments can be mailed to: Bureau of Fisheries, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, P.O.
