Winter feeding last occurred in the late 90’s in the Stanley area.
March 13, 2017 status report
Despite intermittent snow storms, winter range if fairly accessible for big game. Elk are moving to higher elevations on south facing slopes. Winter feeding operations are not occurring in the Salmon region.
