This is Alexandra Beus with her first deer in 2016.

You may recognize Alexandra if you’ve watched our video called How To Get Your Hunter Education Card.

Her little sister, Riley, smiling right behind her, just recently took Hunter Education. Riley was envious of Alexandra’s “alone” time with their Dad. Now, they will all go hunting together.

The whole family loves spending time in Idaho’s outdoors.  Alexandra and Riley’s mom is  Sabrina. She is the Trout in the Classroom Coordinator for the Ted Trueblood Chapter of Trout Unlimited. It is a program that works with Idaho Fish and Game to teach students about watersheds by having them raise trout in a classroom aquarium and then release the fish into the local river.

Both girls have been fishing since they were little, starting with “Barbie” poles. Now, they are learning to fly fish at the Ted Trueblood Chapter of Trout Unlimited's trout camp.

And that’s how it works. Idaho’s outdoor traditions are passed on and this new generation becomes the Face of Conservation.
