Henry's Fork Chapter

The Henry’s Fork Chapter was the first chapter created under the Idaho Master Naturalist Program back in 2008 and is comprised of dedicated full time and seasonal residents of the Island Park area. Located along the southwest border of Yellowstone National Park in the beautiful Henry’s Fork caldera and bisected by the Henry’s Fork of the Snake river, Island Park boasts an elevation of 6,293 feet making it the highest city in Idaho.

The chapter works with our partner organizations to support habitat stewardship, promote conservation education, and perform citizen science. Our primary partner organizations are the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Harriman State Park, the Henry’s Fork Foundation, the Henrys Fork Wildlife Alliance, The Nature Conservancy and the US Forest Service.
