In 2016, the Deer Flat Chapter started up, spreading the IMNP to the west side of the Treasure Valley. Based at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, the chapter also works with the BLM, the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History and Canyon County Parks.
