The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking a Technical Records Specialist 1. The Technical Records Specialist 1 is part of the Administration Bureau. This position will be located at our Headquarters in Boise. This is a year-round temporary benefited position expected to work up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Drive an IDFG vehicle to pick up bulk mail from the USPS Sorting Facility.
- Sort and distribute mail within headquarters, and coordinate pick up / delivery of packages.
- Order and maintain an inventory of IT items, envelopes, and office supplies.
- Pay invoices and reconcile a PCard as needed.
- Manages most printing devices and all large production copiers within HQ and corresponding service contracts, budget and monthly billing statements.
- Records retention, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Assist employees with motor pool check-out.
- Coordinate disposal and recycling of e-Waste and toner cartridges.
- Gather information, make decisions, resolve problems, and respond to inquiries.
- Explain requirements, processes, and procedures to internal customers.
Minimum Qualifications: (These qualifications are required.)
- Experience monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors. (Typically gained by having at least one year of experience (or more) monitoring records systems, identifying problems and correcting errors.)
- Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems. (Typically gained through experience researching and compiling information in order to prepare reports that include recommendations.)
- Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments. (Typically gained through at least one year of work experience with responsibility for reviewing documents or actions for compliance with laws, regulations, and/or policies or through explaining to others how laws, regulations or policies apply to specific situations.)
- Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system. (Typically gained by at least six months of experience in a work setting which required data to be entered and retrieved in a database records system or other computer records system.)
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license.
