The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking one (1) Biological Aide. This position will be located at our Clearwater Fish Hatchery located in Ahsahka, ID. This is an 8-month, benefited temporary position and is expected to work up to 40 hours per week. Housing is available for the employee only. No pets. The position will be from February 2, 2026 – September 1, 2026. Start date can be flexible upon request.

Must be at least 18 years old
Possess a valid driver’s license
Experience following oral and written instructions, policies, and procedures
Experience interacting with the public in a professional setting
Cleaning and caring for fish in rearing units.
Data collection; data entry; sampling fish.
Maintaining grounds and equipment.
Operating landscaping equipment.
Power washing raceways.
Cleaning offices and hatchery facilities.
Other duties as assigned.
