The Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) is seeking an individual with exceptional customer service skills who excel at attention to detail for an exciting opportunity for a Technical Records Specialist 1 to join the Administration Bureau at our Headquarters in Boise.

What We Offer: 

Responsibilities:

  • Contract logging, routing, administration, and tracking for approval and submission
  • Prepares a daily deposit slip for monies received at the front desk
  • Researching various issues and initiating correction requests
  • Reconciling regional sales reports for accuracy and preparation for entry into accounting system
  • Serves as backup for daily cash reports and account coding reviews
  • Issues and reviews controlled hunt refunds
  • Reconciles P-card charges, make travel reservations, update position control numbers for budgets, records retention, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: (All qualifications listed below are required. To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the minimum experience and/or education standards as outlined in each of the typical qualification guidelines. A detailed resume or work history must be submitted, clearly demonstrating/supporting how you meet each requirement. This information is essential to our initial evaluation process.   • Experience monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors. (Typically gained by having at least one year of experience (or more) monitoring records systems, identifying problems and correcting errors.)
  • Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems. (Typically gained through at least one year of experience researching and compiling information in order to prepare reports that include recommendations.)
  • Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments. (Typically gained through at least one year of work experience with responsibility for reviewing documents or actions for compliance with laws, regulations, and/or policies or through explaining to others how laws, regulations or policies apply to specific situations.)
  • Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system. (Typically gained by at least six months of experience in a work setting which required data to be entered and retrieved in a database records system or other computer records system.)
