Steelhead fishing is open seven days per week.
Daily Limit:
Two (2) steelhead per day, only one (1) may be ≥ 28 inches in length
Possession Limit:
Six (6) steelhead in possession, only three (3) may be ≥ 28 inches in length

Twenty (20) steelhead during the fall season

Season Status Details
Beginning September 18th the daily bag limit changed to two (2) steelhead with only 1 fish ≥ 28”.
Special Restrictions
Only single-pointed barbless hooks are allowed when fishing for steelhead or salmon in the South Fork Clearwater River.
