The upper Salmon River closed to Chinook Salmon fishing at the end of fishing hours on July 15th, 2026.
Upper Salmon River- Posted boundary approximately 50 yards upstream of Valley Creek upstream to the posted boundary approximately 100 yards downstream from the Idaho Fish and Game Sawtooth Hatchery weir and trap.
