In you plan to hunt in Owyhee County this fall, you might need to know that the Bureau of Land Management will be conducting a prescribed burn in the Twin Springs area on Juniper Mountain during a five- to seven-day window between September 9-30.
This window overlaps with several archery and any-weapon big game seasons in unit 42, including pronghorn, mule deer, and elk hunts. This could affect public access in the area and your hunt. See the links below for additional information.
