Dylan Smith of Boise shows off a trophy Lake Trout from Payette Lake. The 41.5-inch monster earned him a new catch-and-release state record.
Congratulations to Dylan Smith for setting the newest catch/release state record for Lake Trout! Dylan caught this monster from Payette Lake near McCall. The fish was 41.5 inches long, which was 2 inches longer than last year's record set by Tom Henson - a very impressive 39.5 inch fish caught through the ice in January.
