TWIN FALLS – Sportsmen are reminded to check out the regulations before heading out in the field.
This year some of the biggest changes were to the regular deer youth hunts. Many of the hunts in the past for youth were either sex, but with last year’s hard winter many of the hunts for youth have been changed to antlered deer only.
People need to be aware of the changes,” said Josh Royse, Regional Conservation Officer. “Every time regulations are printed we make changes, and people need to take the time and look for the rules for the areas they are hunting.
Sportsmen can pick up hard copies at license vendor for the regional office. They can also go to idfg.idaho.gov to find them online.
