Hunting dogs died from suspected poisoning near Joseph Plains in Clearwater Region

On Jan 19, a houndsman near the Crow’s Foot area, past Boles, lost two of his dogs to suspected poisoning. The dogs were let out near the cattle guard at the Crow’s Foot and began sniffing around. The hunter noticed them licking the ground and they immediately started convulsing and were dead in less than five minutes… more

Trappers can check in bobcat in Grangeville to meet the mandatory bobcat tagging requirement on Feb. 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This will be in conjunction with the big game open house meeting.
