Black's Creek Public Shooting Range Sets New Attendance Record

No question, 2020 has been a crazy year, with COVID-19 impacting nearly every facet of our lives. But surprisingly, BCR continues to thrive, thanks to our loyal hunters and sport shooters. Pumpkin Shoot Coming to BCR!

Whitetail buck found shot and left to waste in Fremont County

A whitetail buck was recently shot and left to waste along the Red Road in Fremont County in close proximity to the Sand Dunes. The head of the deer was removed while the rest of the carcass was left to rot.

All Closures Lifted at Andrus WMA

With the Woodhead Fire now in the final mop-up stages, all of Andrus Wildlife Management Area (WMA) has reopened to public access. Nearly 5,000 acres of the WMA north of Highway 71 burned as the Woodhead Fire swept across the WMA in early September, ultimately reaching 96,000 acres in size.
