Salmon Region waters to be stocked with trout in June

Anglers will have approximately 15,640 freshly stocked trout to catch at area fishing holes in June.  

Idaho Fish and Game will stock 10 to 12-inch rainbow trout at the following locations:

Boise moose last seen in Foothills and F&G asks people to report it if it remains in the area

A moose reported near Boise’s North End early May 22 was last seen in the north Boise Foothills near Wyndemere Drive, and Fish and Game officials are asking anyone who spots the moose over the next few days to report it to (208) 854-8964.

Hunter education course offered in Salmon

An instructor-led hunter education course will be held in Salmon, May 30 through June 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. each evening, and June 3 from 8 a.m. to noon.
