Several Sportsmen’s Access sites on Salmon River to close temporarily this fall

Construction work is planned to improve several Fish and Game Sportsmen’s Access sites along the upper Salmon River this fall.  These improvements will temporarily close Bobcat Gulch, Fourth of July, Colston, Deer Gulch, and South Butte sites between September 25 and mid-October. 

Youth pheasant season runs Oct. 7-13

Youth pheasant hunting season kicks off Saturday, Oct. 7-13. Youth ages 17 years and younger with an Idaho hunting license can participate in the youth pheasant hunt so long as they're accompanied by an Idaho licensed hunter age 18 years or older. Anyone 18 years or older cannot hunt during the youth hunt.
