Idaho Fish and Game

Access Yes is looking for landowners

idfg-mdemick
Are you landowner who currently allows hunting, but cannot keep up with or do not want to manage all of the hunters on your property? Or, are you interested in allowing people to hunt, but are not sure about the hassle of managing the hunters at your doorstep? If so, the Idaho Fish and Game may have a solution for you. Fish and Game's Access YES! Program is designed to improve hunting and angling access on or through private land by compensating willing landowners. Besides being compensated, the benefits of enrolling in the program include habitat improvements, and Fish and Game will take care of all signage of the boundaries, manage parking locations and sign-in boxes. This program does not have to mean wide open access. Landowners can decide when to allow access, for what species and what types of access. For more information, contact Andrew Mackey, Access YES Coordinator at 208-750-4262 or email andrew.mackey@idfg.idaho.gov.
