Youth pheasant hunting area available near Potlatch

Idaho Department of Fish and Game has worked with a landowner and the Game Bird Foundation to provide youth pheasant hunting opportunities on a 138 acre Access Yes! Parcel on the Palouse River, north of Potlatch, Idaho. To hunt on the property, eligible youth must be 15 years old or younger, possess a valid hunting license or passport, and be accompanied by a licensed adult mentor 18 years or older. Sign-in is required and the number of youth hunters is limited to five per day. Pheasant season is open through December 31, 2015.
