Sale of early controlled hunt tags slowed

Because of high volume of participants in this morning's sale of early controlled hunt tags across the state, issuance of these tags was unexpectedly slowed. This caused inconvenience to those attempting to obtain a tag. Fish and Game regrets any inconvenience to hunters and is working with the license vendor to determine the cause. Further, Fish and Game is going to investigate other options on how to improve the process of issuing unclaimed tags for next year. Despite this delay, all 142 tags were sold.
