Commission to Meet In Lewiston This Week

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will consider proposed seasons for Chinook salmon fishing on the upper Salmon and South Fork Salmon rivers during a meeting on Wednesday, May 20 in Lewiston. A public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 at Fish and Game's Clearwater Region office, 3316 16th Street. Persons wanting to address the commission on any topic having to do with Fish and Game business may do so at the public hearing. All testimony will be taken into consideration when the commission makes decisions on agenda items at the meeting. On Wednesday, May 20, the commission meeting will also be held at the regional office. Routine agenda items include Chinook seasons, election of chairman and vice-chairman, Fiscal 2017 budget development, briefings on LAP, Depredation, Bonus Points and Auction tags, and non-biological rules for all game animals.
